10) 190 million euros raised by Spendesk in January 2022
Spendesk is a startup that enables small businesses with 50 to 1 000 employees to manage their business expenses. Initially specialized in online virtual payment cards, Spendesk facilitates the management of expenses and payments in companies. Today, it has 3500 customers. Payfit is a Paris-based start-up that develops payroll automation and human resources management software for SMEs with less than 100 employees. Present in France, Germany, Spain and England, Payfit manages the payroll of approximately 150,000 employees for 6,000 companies. It employs 700 people worldwide. Its goal is to reach 9,000 clients and 80% growth by 2022. Valued at €1.82 billion following this fundraising, it has become the 23rd French unicorn.
5) Exotec raises €290 million in January 2022
Exotec, founded in 2015, is a startup specializing in warehouse automation solutions. It is the first startup in logistics, and it is already revolutionizing the field by offering a new system of order preparation thanks to robots. With a speed of movement of 4 meters per second and they can fetch goods up to 12 meters high. Following this fundraising of 290 million euros, the valuation of Exotec has jumped to more than 1.75 billion euros.
